Something in the sky...

Funny thing is, that no matter how many times I have been in Epcot (and it is a lot) I have never noticed it. Yes, it is obvious when looked at in a picture like this one, but my brain never registered anything being out of place. Still doesn't. For all I know, it could be a modern designed building in Paris?

Maybe they should paint the whole thing sky blue!
Don't feel bad, I've never really noticed it either. Starting this thread has been eye opening, literally!

I was there when they were building the Soarin building. Now that was an eyesore and complaints were being expressed constantly. I made a post that said that I have seen how well Disney manages to hide stuff and that I wasn't worried about it. Wasn't a popular stance, but, the real eyeopener for me was when I saw an aerial view of the Haunted Mansion. Couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Yes and it's amazing from aerial shots just how close to the IASW building it is, they're practically touching! Also as an adult I've come to realise that 'show buildings' are nowhere near as 'glamorous' or as 'exciting' as we probably imagine them to be, especially as kids. But as for the Haunted Mansion show building, that's one building that would excite the heck out of me entering for a poke around

It makes sense. But in my head I'm thinking "noooooo"-I still want to believe that the entire ride just takes place in the actual Mansion. Though this is a cool picture. Thank you for sharing!

I can't believe I never noticed these things.
Well, congratulations! Now that you have decided to read these boards that little luxury will never happen again. You will now start to notice everything, no matter how unimportant it is or was to your previous enjoyment.

I'm just kidding. I'm pretty good at suspension of disbelief. Even though I know about these things I still don't see them when visiting. That is the last thing that I am focusing on.

Even during it's construction and before the vegitation the Building really couldn't be seen and that's what made it work so well...

But, now with the interactive graveyard playland some parts of the show building are visible when you look up..
