Someone with experience not receiving your cruise docs?

The party we are traveling with still hasn't received their docs. They told them to wait another week to see if they show up. If they don't, it will cost $50 to have them reissue it, which seems very unfair. If they don't want to pay it I suppose they would just have to pick up their own bags, then go to the DME desk to get a ticket for the bus? Seems like Not So Magical Express if that's the case.

I meant DCL. We leave 2/1. That's why they said wait another week but assuming they're "lost" they aren't paying $50. I assume they will have to collect their own baggage and wait at the desk to be able to check in for the bus.

OK good. We got ours a week and a half ago so we thought they should have them by now.
If you both booked direct with DCL, and live close to each other, then they should come a few days from each other, maybe as far apart as a week.

If there is any variance from that, it may move the dates further apart.

They live an hour from us but DCL told them they were processed 12/17. They are using a PO box right now so that's part of the problem I'm sure but I thought they'd have them by now.

Reprinting is ridiculously expensive, but I guess Disney figures they can do that since so many cruise lines don't mail a thing these days, and all have edocs.

I'm with Joe though, sometimes they get delayed in the mail somewhere, or just take longer to get to certain parts of the country. Hopefully they'll still make it. They've got lots of time.
