We just came back from a wonderful trip to Disney. We have taken the kids twice before this and always done the meal plan. I have been less than impressed with some of the choices they have made for the standard kids meals. One of things I do not understand is the chicken nuggets. They give processed nuggets to the kids but if an adult orders nuggets in the same restaurant the get the real breaded white meat chicken. Granted it's all deep fried and really nutritionally wise it's pretty much the same but it seems like more of a hassle to have 2 different kinds of nuggets to cook and personally if given the choice I would give my child the real meat.
I also had an issue with this new Pomegranate lemonade that is offered everywhere and apparently with the exception of a few places lemonade has been taken off the menu. My kids wanted nothing to do with it and again nutritionally neither is a good choice but I can't imagine any kid is like "ooh yum they have pomegranate lemonade." Lemonade was a nice treat to offer for the kids on a hot afternoon.
Lastly they have to come up with some new kid side choices, for example the grapes they offer are disgusting. We like grapes but the prepackaged, who knows how long they've been there, grapes have to go. They were mushy and sour, really just generally bad quality produce. How about raisins, pretzles, crackers or a yogurt stick/cup?
