Some questions...

#1- My friend and I are flying in on two different flights and taking DME, she used to work for the airlines and she usually flies standby or buddy pass and doesn't know what flight she will take till the last minute. will this be a problem with DME? Note: she will not be checking any bags.

#2- I'd like to use my key to the world to make purchases via my credit card on file and she would too but using her card. Can they do that even though we're under the same reservation and on the dining plan together?

#3- About how much would it cost to add on another park hopper day to a 4 day pass at check in or in the parks?

I'm sure I have more but I can't remember them right now...

1) As long as she won't be arriving at the end of the day, your friend would be fine without DME having their exact flight info. Just give them the most-likely flight info and go from there. Mostly they just use arrivals for staffing and bus planning.
The only problem comes with end-of-the-day arrivals. The DME desk does officially close at some point in the evening (11pm, I think). But if they have Guests with scheduled arrivals after that, they'll keep on a skeleton crew to handle those late arrivals. But if you're arriving on a 12:15am flight and they don't know to expect you, you could potentially arrive at the DME desk to find it closed up for the night.

2) I've heard that with the newest system at the resort front desks, separate credit cards are now much easier to handle than they used to be.
Worst case scenario, you can open the account under one credit card, and then at some point during your trip you can get a printout of all your charges and divvy them up between you. (Each line item on the bill will show which card was used) Then just give the desk the other card and say "charge $xx.xx to this card". Just make sure you do that *before* you go to bed the night before you check out. Otherwise all purchases will get pushed onto the card on file.

3) I believe extra days are about $10. And that assuming you already have the Park Hopper option on your MYW ticket. (It's a flat fee regardless of how many days your ticket is for). An extra day *and* adding Park Hopper would be about $65. ($10 for the day and $55 for Park Hopper)

If she is not checking any bags, the flight info should not be a big deal. Since there is someone at the DME desk 24/7, she really won't have to call. Just go to the desk with her booklet to check in. The only restriction is if you are arriving after 10 pm, you must go and retrieve your own luggage.

I have not heard of that being possible, but I would certainly call the resort ahead of time and ask.

The additional cost would be $12 per person if you already have park hoppers.

Feel free to ask any other questions that you may have. We'll be happy to answer as best we can!

You would be correct with #2. At one time it was not possible but after the new system was rolled out we can do it. Only requirement is that you're both at the desk with the respective credit cards when you want to do it. =)
