Some perfect choices for CEO

Tom Staggs was described by the Huffington Post as "an oddly waifish man of anemic personality".

Ouch. :in pain:

If the Huffington Post had put that in print about me, I would probably go into hiding. Which is what Tom Staggs appears to have done.

I'm not at all convinced there is anyone on Disney's Burbank campus that can take over succesfully. The kids seem to like Kevin Fiege (sp?), and I agree that a creative type desperately needs to take over. But it seems to me that if Disney is to right its ship and survive further into the 21st century, they need to look beyond Burbank right now for senior leadership.

Because what they've been doing for the past couple years isn't working.
I didn't realize that the "Huff Post" was the determining factor on how effective someone would be as the Chief Executive of a company. Especially when said article is no longer available, and was an opinion piece.

Personally I have no issues with Staggs, if he is the right person for the job then let him have it, even if is a "waifish man of anemic personality".

And he isn't in hiding. He is currently Co-CEO with Kevin Mayer (another former Disney Executive who I could have seen as CEO of TWDC) of Forest Road Acquisition an investment firm. He's just not in the lime light anymore which is why he isn't in the media much anymore.

I wish it was Tom Staggs, but he's not working at Disney anymore. This Youtuber named Orangegrove55 suggested Peter Rice the Chairman of Disney General Entertainment Content to be the next CEO of Disney. I don't know how good he is, but if that's the case, I hope so.

I’d say either Joshua D’Aramo or Alan Bergman would fit best.
As for the interim CEO, if Chapek is fired, Susan B Arnold could have to take the reins for a bit until a permanent CEO is installed.

Many insiders are reporting that emergency and contingency plans have been created to appoint a new CEO if the need should arise. This should get interesting if a huge controversy leads to him being ousted.

CEO doesn't matter at this point, Disney has become fully WOKE and is not going to stop.

No idea what the board of directors are doing or thinking but Disney as a business is falling apart, Movie business is in a big decline, streaming service will stop gaining customers soon. Parks are the only good looking numbers at the moment. ESPN isn't do well either but people seem to have forgotten about that wing of the business?
