Sorry I'm late with these. I've been very busy since getting back from the World. I was there from Nov. 12-18. It was pretty much dead there (not that I'm compaining). Here are a few pics that might interest you.
First day was Monday Nov. 13 at Epcot. Apparently we just missed the Food & Wine festival as the workers began removing the sign as you enter the park.
There was almost nobody there which made it easy to get a nice shot of the Christmas tree.
Next day (Tuesday Nov. 14th) went to MK but got no shots of any thing really interesting.
Wednesday decided to go to AK since it was gonna be the hottest day of the week. Got a shot of this Rhino crossing the road on Kilimanjaro Safaris. The driver seemed genuinely concerned that it might do something or just stop there but just proceeded to walk on by.
Thursday went to MGM er sorry -- Disney Studios hehe. Something was very missing in this shot.
There was a stage in front of the hat. Does anyone know why it was there? I never did find out.
Nothing of major interest here except this was my first time experiencing the Osborne lights which were absolutely beautiful!!!
Stayed at POP for the tenure of my stay. The night I got back from MGM I noticed part of the walkway around the lake at the resort was blocked off. Here they ripped up 2 sections of concrete along the walkway. Here is a shot of it I took the next morning.
Next day was Friday the 17th. Went to both MK and Epcot. When we arrived at MK there was the the Castle stage show (Dream Along with Mickey) going on. It was strange to me that there were workers above the show putting up Christmas decorations while the show was going on.
Also noticed that one of the fans on the windmill on Tom Sawyer's Island was broken off.
See next post for my last 2 pics.
