I LOVE the character sketches. They are fantastic. You obviously have a real talent. Can't wait to see some more.

Some fine sketches there Josh. The best being your contact contour, loosen up, you are trying to hard in several of your other sketches. You have talent, what you should do now is to sketch at least 2 hours a day, that time does not include painting or other artistic endevours. Your Seahorse is very nice. Thank you for sharing!

Whoa hold it there! Thank you for the compliments but I'm doing anything but trying hard on those sketches. I appreciate your attempt at help...but again by no means do I try to hard espescially on homework sketches for my art class. Also, I don't believe in tiresome, repetative BS to get better. I draw when I feel like drawing ya know? Not when it's time to practice! lol I think for someone trying to learn to draw that exercises like that can be useful...but this is a natural talent..it comes to me like nothing. Don't get me wrong I learn something new everyday...but not by the method you sugested.
