So there was a post a while ago(cant find it ) where someone mentioned that Disney should put employees up in housing. now i think that's a silly idea lol, but im curious what would be some areas close to WDW where one could live? Ill be moving(if i do decide to do it) from the NE. So im not sure what to expect. I dont think theres anything here in this state for me.

So what are some close towns to WDW, keep in mind i MAY not have a car to get around so public transportation would be good, even though ive never rode a bus :)

Anyone know of any good apartment complexes in those areas, flats or one bedroom is what id be looking for i think.

Whats minimum wage in Florida? Ive been cooking for 20 years now in mostly corporate settings(chili's on the boarder, places like that) so im trying to find out if i can survive down there.

What are local newpapers that i can look for a job in(besides wanting to work for Disney) possibly a roommate and even a car.

Whats the name of the public transportation, i might be able to check into it and see how it works :)

Ok thats enough for now, THANKS so much

Here's what I know...

close towns to WDW: I knew some people who lived in some apartment complexes just north of MK, also Kissimmee is pretty popular

minimum wage in Florida: pretty sure it's $7.25....thats what most of the college program is

local newpapers: The Sentinel is the main one in the area, http://www.orlandosentinel.com/

public transportation: Lynx, http://www.golynx.com/

Hope that helps a little!
