Well thank you that's very kind of you to say so. The thing is I have this thread under 'watch' so any reaction and I get alerts. There's been nothing for about a year and then in the last 3 days about 4 likes. it's bizarre?

Update: I believe the person in question has left the forum! I seem to vaguely remember a post made that they would no longer return to be the driving force of the boards though they would check in every once in awhile. (very unfortunate)

Okay. I'll bite. I'm totally confused by this entire thread. Can someone explain to those of us who were not here in 2011? From what I can possibly piece together without analyzing every one of these posts, this thread was created as a spoof of some now departed member who everyone hated.........or something? It's probably obvious, and I'm just being dense. After all, until it was explained to me, I'm the one who also didn't understand that silence thread or whatever it's called in tribute to 9/11 victims where everyone was just posting dots.

The thread was started as a joke response to Jimmy Thick's thread about breaking a guys nose at Epcot on purpose.
Jimmy Thick thought he was the "Leading Force of the forums" or some such nonsense.

Jimmy Thick, who is an amazing troll, and executes his b8 perfectly (I almost admire him) created a b8 thread telling a ridiculous story about breaking some guy's nose at Epcot, and so many people believed this utterly ridiculous story, and it became such a famous thread that this spin-off was started, by the one and only @mergatroid as you see.Okay. We were staying at Saratoga Springs in early December in maybe 2011 and if you've ever stayed there, you know about the stairs leading to the rooms. Well, we were walking behind a group of people and someone got tripped up and just completely ate it on the stairs, one the worse injuries I ever saw, he broke his jaw, nose and suffered an orbital fracture, really sucked for him.
