Trip Report Some Epcot randomness on 8/23

This isn’t really a trip report. So mods, feel free to delete or move to news and rumors .

Anyway, when I’m not traveling, I find that I like taking various conference calls while simply walking the WDW resort. Today is no exception... well, except that I took photos along the way.

So this is nothing more than random observations .

First up,

Over by Odyssey, I never remembered there being this much growth.

Fortunately, it must not be too bad or he wouldn’t still be alive

More work being done at WOL along with the ongoing concrete work in front of Germany. Oh, and I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m sad the GOTG show is done. That was great fun! Also, anybody know why all of the white floaters are out? I don’t usually see those. Also odd that the fire barge was out.

Finally, a few random photos on my walk over to the studios and back. So, if they manage to make the GOTG gravity building look cool like WOM, we’re all good. Also, looks like covers of some sort being lifted into place at the gateway station. Work being done at the Clubs (hopefully some lightbulbs are being replaced!) and additional walls up at GMR.

Fianlly, I wanted to share what could be seen from the walking path as it’s be just slightly rerouted (in a bad way lol).

Edit: almost forgot, the boardwalk lounge is also closed for work.

Well, I would definitely call this a report. Maybe not the typical kind but still a report! I can't wait to hear about the gondolas when they are completed. Also must say, I need a job where I can be on a conference call and walk around Disney. I'm slightly jealous.

Haha well, I consider it my reward for when I’m not traveling . I get to exercise, enjoy the parks and can still get quite a bit of work done from the phone so yeah, I guess that isn’t so bad .

I also totally forgot to mention in one of the last pictures up there that a permanent gate that matches the look of the old Pixar Studios is being built. Kinda a bummer as I was hoping they’d repurpose that area somehow.
