Soft Openings

Hello to All

I keep hearing about soft openings for soaring and the stunt show prior to May 5. What is a soft opening? Are the attractions open all day for guest or just for Cast members? I will be at WDW the third week of April so I am very interested.

When an attraction opens for some shows before it's scheduled. It's usually a limited schedule.

I believe there was a thread previous about this and they were thinking the Stunt Show could be ready by end of March. I'm not sure about Soarin.

Its usually done for testing and for ironing out problems, measuring crowd flow onto the ride etc, etc

How limited is the schedule? When stitch was in soft opening, did they run it most of the day? Both of these attraction appeal to my family so we would like to work them into our plans.

No, they only ran stitch for a couple hours a day during its soft openings. Don't count on being able to see either of them, its going to be a "right place, right time" kind of thing.
