Soarin' Queue Music

Rode Soarin' at Epcot for the first time last week. I like the WDW version's logo better than DCA's logo, and I hope the 4 (5?) climate regions in the queue are a sign of things to come for a new film.

Now the question: has anyone noticed that the original Battlestar Galactica movie theme is part of the queue music? Any idea why? It's a universal film/tv series. That particular arrangement has a Soarin' -esque sound to it, but still! There are surely enough S f fans out there to notice it!!

The last time I was at Epcot and rode Soarin' was in early August. To be honest I can't remember what the exact music was for the ride and wait, but I do recall that I recognized it. For some reason I think some of the music was from Armageddon, a Disney film.

"Thanks for Soarin' with us."

Those are certainly interesting choices - "Armageddon" "Battlestar Galactica" just what kind of flight do they want us to have!!

Soarin' Music soars

The queue music is from morestudios than Disney. There's Rocketeer, Right Stuff, Superman. The music is thematic, not restricted to Disney. No Peter Pan either...lol

They definately had the Marahute Flight theme from Rescuers Down Under. I couldn't stop smiling when realized that it was that music that was playing, definately helped my waiting time.

I haven't riden Soarin' enough to notice if they use the same music as in DCA, but I do know that at DCA the scores from the movies "Dave", "An American President" and "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story" are prominately featured.

I've heard music from E.T. as I was heading down the escalator on Saturday and I have heard music from An American Tail in the exit queue.
