Soarin Music

I was in line for Soarin today and swore that I heard the score for Apollo 13 (launch sequence). Can anyone confirm or deny that this is being used? It is not a Disney Movie, so I would be surprised. Thanks

I was in the Land food court the other day and could have sworn I heard the theme from Pearl Harbor. I don't see it on that track list, though. Or is there a different loop in the main pavilion? Of course, it could have been something similar sounding, and I just was mistaken...

this is what I thought I heard: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rz55JMS92eY

yes, we noticed the music, too! DD is a music student and has an ear for that. She recognized the Pearl Harbor music, and music from Band of Brothers, too.

Band of Brothers is the last track in the loop (at least the loop as recreated by someone and available around the net in a few places). Pearl Harbor isn't in there. (I actually don't see any Hans Zimmer pieces in the loop.)

Great, now I'm going to have to listen through the loop and see if anything sounds similar... ;)

EDIT: Perhaps it's the theme from Indecent Proposal, by John Barry.

(This is one piece that will always make me think of the Soarin' queue)

The song Tennessee from the Pearl Harbor soundtrack is used in the interior loop. As pointed out, this loop is completely different than the Soarin queue loop.

I think I just misread what Martin wrote, thinking he meant that the queue and interior pavilion loops were the same music. I don't spend much time in the Land, so I wasn't aware. :hammer:

Every time I see that movie I think of the ride, and vice versa standing in the queue....

Sorry - the interior loop is different to the Soarin queue loop, but both use movie music and both were added in 2005.
