I'm reminded of PL7764's game-winning season six project where he proposed something very similar. The big draw there that this lacks is in addition to the physically demanding stuff, he also included indoor walking trails which were a HUGE secret ingredient that made the project stand out so much.
To @PerGron 's credit (I forgot to include the credits I will add those) in the 'everything else' tab he included non-physical activities such as the Woodsmen show, the Junior Wilderness Explorers, Campsites, etc.

Thanks for the feedback! Great job NuEisner!

As it stands now, there's very little as far as actual activities go that you can't get at your average Pigeon Forge/Bronson roadside attraction.
Stuff like this is so popular all around the USA that my justification was Disney doing a rock climbing gym, ropes course, etc. just makes a ton of sense and with the theme the team decided (before deciding on what activities by the way) it’s really the only set of things that made sense.

Your criticisms are your criticisms and you’re the judge so if your distaste of these activities lose us the round, so be it I guess, but I personally don’t think it’s a fair criticism to say that this stuff “isn’t original” when everything present is proven throughout the USA at least to draw in a big crowd.

As for criticisms about activities for those with disabilities and different levels of athleticism, I purposely included different skillset rock walls for that purpose as well as ax throwing and arrow tag not being super physically challenging as they are skill related. My friend (who is 100% wheelchair bound) is quite possibly the best axe thrower I’ve ever gone with. Plus I have activities present like yoga, meditation, a live show, campfires, a children’s play area, etc. so there is plenty for those not wanting to climb the rock wall.

I dunno, don’t take it personally please, I’m not trying to call you out. I just didn’t feel all the criticisms are fair when it seems to me it’s just because you don’t like the activities personally rather than looking at it objectively and where I’m the one who did all the activities, I don’t want to lose the round and get booted because of it.

First, I wanted to apologize for not being able to get more written feedback out. I've been completely slammed with school and it's honestly easier for me to talk out my feelings about the projects on the podcast so I've been treating that as my only review platform, but I'll be making more of an effort to get some sort of written review out when I have the time.

I will say on this, it's not a criticism of your execution at all. You did a lot of impressive work with it, and it is a realistic concept that I could absolutely see Disney implementing. With the theme, it's a creative idea, but in my opinion as well, the concept for the other team's activity was more out of the box. That's not us saying anything on how the round went as a whole or who's winning, but that's how Tiki and I both felt. However, we both really appreciated the wide variety of activities that you had, and TIki said as much in his review. I don't think it's deniable to say the rock wall isn't handicap accessible, and it isn't meant to be, which is completely fine, and I think that's the main thing Tiki was referring to because there are obviously a lot of other aspects of the project that anyone can do without problems. Again, you did a great job, both teams are making this decision really tough on us, but we're doing what we can to make as fair a decision as possible. It's not easy when everyone's put so much effort and heart into it, and we don't take the responsibility lightly.

The last thing I wanted was for my feedback to be hurtful in any way, and if it got to that point then I can't even tell you how much I apologize. Sometimes I just don't word things right. Like Goofy said the handicap thing I voiced concern for was purely the rock climbing wall. There's definitely other activities, but the wall is obviously meant to be the main focal point of the experience. It was a lot of pretty standard roadside attraction stuff packaged together really nicely with some solid Disney touches. As I said in my feedback I do think that the other team writing out 36 unique mini golf holes outshines the recreational component, but I think your team blew the shopping and dining element out of the water. Both teams excelled at different things, so please don't think I'm trying to come down on anyone.

And again, I don't envy you guys nor do I think anything I have to say is any more valid than whatever others do. I just want it on the record that I do have issues with the critiques labeled against the work I did (even if it's just about the "originality" and not the actual writing and effort).

You guys have a very tough (now tougher) challenge to eliminate anyone and I definitely don't want to make y'all think I don't appreciate that. I just wanted to get my voice out there as my own defense before tonight's reviews so that in the event I'm up I at least have a case laid out for my own defense lol. I definitely don't think anyone is coming for me with their reviews at all, just wanted to say my piece.

I re-read the review and while I still disagree with some of the things said, I understand a little better what was being said in terms of the disability stuff at least. I'll see you all in the live and may the best players win
