After a very crazy 48 hours finally watched the finale. And wow. I feel like Gigi was so biased this season just in comparison.To follow up on this...
We love a fabulous drag queen who is $100,000 richer.
Krystal Methyds lip syncs were amazing especially her solo one. It had me jaw on the floor just by the creativity her mind
Side Note: Got HBO Max a couple days ago with their like cheaper introductory rates. Their original show, Legendary is really fun to watch. Its basically if the RuPauls drag race balls were on steroids with professional voguers. Unfortunately only had time for the pilot episode but I was impressed with that was offered.
Also We’re Here another amazing show starring Bob, Shangela, and Eureka is in HBO right now. It is amazing and is a real touching story and in some episodes provides a chilling look at how conservative towns treat the lgbt.

A recent find for me is this really schlocky Italian-Philipino Robocop/Terminator rip off called ROBOWAR (all caps). Awful performances, awful direction, awful script, awful everything that's so much fun to watch. It's on Amazon Prime if you have an hour and a half to waste and just want to watch an awful movie.
I'll point out a critically panned movie from early this year that I actually ended up really enjoying. "Downhill" starring Will Ferrell and Julie Louise Dreyfuss. It's based on a Swedish movie that gets a ton of acclaim and most of the criticism comes from it not being as artistic or meditative as the original. My counter t o that is that this movie a great vehicle for Will Ferrell putting his usual "idiot dad" bit under a microscope. Base premise for that movie is that a family is staying at a ski lodge and when there's a flash avalanche that happens in an outdoor patio Ferrell basically screams like a little girl and runs from his family. Normally this would be another "silly dad" joke in a movie like Daddy's Home, but Downhill plays it totally straight and brings up the abandonment issues his wife and kids have after he seemingly left them to die in the avalanche. I've watched the Swedish movie on Hulu, and I honestly PREFER Downhill just because of how interesting of a deconstruction it is for a typical Ferrell character. I'm not calling it the next Punch Drunk Love or Uncut Gems, but it's SORT OF in the same vein in terms of throwing a comedic actor out of their element.

Looney Tunes Back In Action, its a very messy feeling movie and I can see why Joe Dante distances himself from this one.
It still does do a better job at recreating the feel of a Looney Tunes cartoon compared to Space Jam.

As featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000, Santa Claus. This was the film that got me hooked on MST, and viewed without riffing, it's just a wonderfully awful mess that's engaging enough to keep your interest and wonder what loopy turn of events will happen next.
A few more of my favorites
Dancin' It's On. Discovered this through Brad Jones. It's a total gem of a bad movie. It feels like a Disney Channel Original Movie with even worse production values and yet somehow still marketed more towards adults.
