Well, given the map calls for a loop system rather than a shuttle, I'd say we should go for the steam outline.
If anyone has a better way to organize the train (or a better way to arrange a full-resort transit system - by all means brainstorm it out.

Just because I put it in a loop, I don't want that to stifle everyone's creativity it can be edited! (just as long as I don't have to redo the entire map -- my eyes are still recovering :hilarious:)

I don't think we've decided yet - what would be your suggestion?

So, for the resort's trains, both in CityWalk and in UniSEA...

Hogwarts Express in UniSEA is meant to be a wholly in-park experience, without the park-to-park element. It works the same as in Orlando otherwise. Loading in the Kings Cross station in the Victorian London entry land, then through Transylvania where it adds cool movement (riders are unaware; they watch screens), then unloading in Hogsmeade. Will be an out-and-back, not a circuit.

Additionally, boutique hotel guests staying in Hogwarts begin their visit with a secret entrance directly into Kings Cross. Like HP first years, they ride to Hogsmeade, then transfer to boats to reach Hogwarts.

For the CityWalk elevated train, I was imaging something which technically functions like this:

DisneySea Electric Railway. @S.P.E.W, you seem to be a train guy. Would this count as a funicular?

No screens on this thing! The appeal is genuine views of a beautiful resort. Circuit or out-and-back, I'm fine either way. It can resemble another historical train, of course.

Incidentally, Space, your overall resort map seems fine. No issues here!

Well, I think that if we're having more than two stations, I still think steam outline, if only because it would allow for higher capacity. If it were a shuttle line, we could have trains switch lines.

I came up with one idea for a raft ride similar to Bluto's Bilgerat Barges but more based on Popeye meets Sinbad. The working title I have for the attraction is Popeye's Voyage to Sinbad's Island. What sets this attraction from its Floridian counterpart (apart from theme and story) is more AAs and SFXs, and it will also have some parts take place indoors.

Seems a cool idea.

I've been considering this same raft ride system for a Universal Monsters ride in UniSEA, down into flooded crypts and Black Lagoons and sulphuric pits and such. Think it was mentioned like 10 pages back. Transylvania needs a big ride that's neither a coaster nor a dark ride.

Let's consider other ride options for both IPs. Probably only one park needs a raft ride.

That system could work as a funicular. However, funiculars involve cars pulled by cables instead of cars having motors. But yeah, I think something styled like the Electric Railway could work wonders here.

Hmm. That DisneySea Railway had motors. It also has parallel tracks and only two stations, so for its type it seems both efficient and high-capacity. Not sure how to do an out-and-back like that with additional stops, but I assume some city lines provide the solution. Vegas or Boston, @spacemt354?

I like that! Seems to fit in with the historical nature of the area -- and thanks for the map feedback!

No, that would be just an ordinary overhead railway. Funicular railways normally use gravity and cables to guide the trains from point A to point B; though looking at the map of the railway, I think the other option would be better.
