So, You Want to be an Imagineer Season 15/16 Announcement

Universal Australia site should be all set now -- fixed the map. The thing that bothered me about it after not looking at it for a while was it felt too busy. So people reviewing it (like Tiki and Dragon) who weren't involved in the brainstorming, it might be a bit of information overload. Rather keep the intro map simple and to the point, and have the extra details instead just come within each section. We could go through and finish it up more but I think it's better left defined as a 'season' self-contained rather than something constantly evolving.

Thanks for all your help with this. It's going to be a CRAZY busy week on my end but after Christmas is over I definitely want to start doing podcasts on Uniting Universal. Also, I'm fairly confident I can talk Jacob Wile aka Iamaninsomniac to come on board as a co-host. Can't say rather or not he'll give written reviews, but he'll definitely be helping me with the recap podcasts. SandyClaws is really busy with school plus working on interviews for his own channel so I don't really feel comfortable asking. I did hire him to make an official logo for the season so Sandy's influence will definitely be felt in SOME way! :)

Pleased with the responses so far. I'm definitely going full speed ahead with this. Continue to let me know that you're interested in playing, and I'll launch a full Sign Up/"Hub" thread in about a week, aiming for a New Years start date.

This was such a fun project to watch. I think I'll sign up for the next season.

I'm going to be making the official "Hub" thread for this season some time within the next couple hours. Just working out some last minute kinks in the gameplay. I will say that there will be no formal "Cast" this time around, but unlike Uniting Universal there will definitely be a competitive edge to it. Taking inspiration from the upcoming Spielberg film "Ready Player One", this season will have a "Leaderboard" that will chart from project to project. Sixteen people will make it on to the official standings for the season while all others who contribute throughout will get honorable mentions in the hub thread and links to their projects.

Once we run through ten projects, the top five on the leaderboard will then move on to a more traditional semi-finals and Final Project.

In this way, anyone can jump in and contribute if they see a particular project they really want to complete, but it will still be structured as a competition with a formal ranking of players, finalists, and a winner.

I like this format! Like a more competitive version of how the one sentence comp is done. But with more than 1-5 sentences a project I'm sure lol.

Are sign ups still taking place? I’ve been meaning to get back into Imagineering on the boards.

There are no formal sign-ups this season, instead people can come and go as they please and progress will be tracked via a Leaderboard.
First project has already been posted! :)

I just posted the first project in the hub thread. Let me know if you have any further questions! :)
