S does not stand for Siri, although it was coincidentally introduced on the 4s. All iPhones since the 4s have Siri.

To add to what @wdwmagic said, Siri also comes on the new iPads as well as all new iPhones since the iPhone 4S.

Some people claim the 'S' has had different names with it being 'Speed' for the iPhone 3GS and 'Siri' for the iPhone 4S. The joke about the iPhone 5c is that the 'c' stands for 'Cheap' because it is cheaper to make than the iPhone 5 but selling for what would have been the iPhone 5's new price.

Siri does not work well for me. At all. I asked it a question once and it started calling someone I didn't want to call.
