So, which major Disney-relevant movies have you NEVER seen?

Starting to do my homework before our August trip. Last night I watched the second Star Wars film (in order of release date). Until recently I had never watched ANY of them! I enjoyed it. References to the characters are everywhere and it's all starting to make sense now. Should get through them all before our trip. I also watched both Up and Pocahontas recently for the first time. (I was underwhelmed by Pocahontas...) Haven't seen Tangled yet; that one's next on my list. I have also never seen the original animated version of Beauty and the Beast. o_O

(As an aside, anyone remember Treasure Planet? - I remember the kids & I enjoying that years ago but it seemed to fall into the abyss of forgotten films pretty quickly....)

So, despite being die-hard Disney fans, which major Disney-related films have you NEVER seen that you plan to watch for the first time before your next trip?

I saw The Aristocats for the first time recently and it was terrible. Also had my first and only viewing of Treasure Planet last year, and yeah, it wasn't good. I've never seen Planes or Wreckit Ralph.

The only major one I haven't seen is Coco. I had seen Avatar, but recently rewatched it. If you can get past the first 45 minutes, not a bad movie. It does help with understanding the land. There's a handful of other movies I haven't seen, Black Cauldron, some from the early '00s when Disney wasn't making good stuff, but I've seen most major Disney movies, even some of the live actions like Swiss Family Robinson and The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes and the original Parent Trap and Freaky Friday, ones not prominently featured in the parks.

I also watched some of the movies from the Great Movie Ride because of that ride: Footlight Parade, Casablanca, Singin' in the Rain, and The Searchers. Wizard of Oz, Indy, and Mary Poppins I had of course seen. I also eventually saw Fantasia. That was one of the ones it took me longest to see. I grew up with most of the animated ones, but my dad hates Fantasia, so we never bought it. I saw it thanks to Netflix.

I loved all the old MGM musicals. As a child it wouldn't be Christmas without them! I was an adult before I saw Fantasia too. It was the music that first attracted me to it.

The next one I want to watch is Meet Me in St. Louis. I love the Trolley Song. They also play "Meet Me in St Louis" on Main Street, and the Trolley Song is part of their greeting too.

So we watched Wreck it Ralf last night. That was one of the more surreal movies I've seen recently. Gave me a major sugar craving! My favourite bits were all the arcade game bad-guys (including one of the Pac-Man ghosts) in their therapy sessions.

With two teen/tween nieces, there was no way I could not see frozen. I wasn't a major fan the first time I saw it but it's grown on me!

I do like the music from the Lion King. Can't remember the last time I actually watched it though....
Lol it does have a good soundtrack!
