For a meal, we love the Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch. For a snack, the Sunshine Tree Terrace for a Citrus Swirl.

My brother and I love going to Cosmic Ray's. Sunny Eclipse (probably butchered the spelling) is our favorite! Good food, not a bad price, and great theming! :slurp:

Favourite place is Flame Tree Barbeque, at the seats by the pond.
*hits Barnum one the head and points out it says MK*

I like Liberty Tree Tavern for a nice dinner. Lunch either the mexican place (don't feel like trying to spell right now) that's never open or Pecos Bill's.

Ouch

Sorry, but I don't associate the words "favourite", "food" and "Magic Kingdom" as the choice is pretty dire unless all you eat are bland burgers, frozen pizza or salads. ;)

When it used to be open I would go to the place opposite Pirates.

While at the MK we eat lunch at the Crystal Palce(not a bad price for a character lunch and its a buffet too boot, all you can eat) For a quick meal at MK, we either eat at Pecos Bills(awesome fixin's bar for the burgers), or Casey's(Pretty good dogs and fries). Plus always have to have a Dole Whip:) from the stand in Adventureland.

Cosmic Ray's (anyone know if Sonny is back?), The Liberty Tree Tavern, Pecos Bill's & Casey's for hot dogs.

Gotta have a snack from the Main Street Bakery. :slurp:

I love the cinnamon rolls at the Main Street Bakery. Great atmosphere in there as well.

For lunch, we tend to go to Pinnochio's alot for burgers.

Then, you have to go to the popcorn carts on Main Street. Why is it there popcorn is so good????

You gotta explore, my friend.

Go to Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. Go to the Crystal Palace. And actually, I think the burgers inside ALL of the parks (which are all the same) are pretty good.

I do explore - over to Animal Kingdom and Epcot where the counter restaurants serve non-bread related products ;)

When I'm on holiday I like to try new things, and whilst I have no objection to burgers, and will eat them when they take my fancy I find it a shame that in Magic Kingdom you go to the Starlight Cafe and it's burgers, chicken strips and sald, you then press on to Pinnochios and it's burgers, chicken strips and salad, check out Pecos Bills - burgers, chicken strips and salad.

OK you can go to Columbia harbour house where it's fish, chicken strips and salad (not sure about whether salad is there ) Or the Tomorrowland Pavilion where it's Frozen Pizza and Salad.

The only places in MK that served something differet were the long shut place in Adventureland and Pirates, also in Adventureland and also shut whenever I've been there.

Yeah, I know what you mean.

I think it's done that way for a reason. And that reason is pretty much the same reason no alchohol is served in the Magic Kingdom:

The kids.

More than ANY part of Disney World, the Magic Kingdom is really for the kids (though I'm 28 and it's still my favorite park.)

Burgers and chicken fingers, for some kids, is all they want to eat. And if you've ever been to Pinnochio's or Pecos Bill at lunchtime on a crowded day at the Magic Kingdom, you'll see why there are so many burger places. It's an absoute zoo.

Can you imagine if they only had 1 burger place there?

Yikes.

I love liberty tree for lunch just because the lunch menu appeals to me a little better than the dinner one does and when its dinner time i can always find something really good at tony's.

I hear you. My kids like to try to eat their weight in chicken fingers.

Try the Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. I made their recipe for flank steak the other night. :slurp:
My favorite lunch is soup & a nice salad, but I didn't have it too often in WDW.

I'm glad you enjoy good food or else I'd never have discovered the salmon in Tusker House.

We've always had a meal at Crystal Palace, especially now for our kids. Food's pretty good for a buffet setting. But for a quick bite, nothing beats a nice juicy turkey leg and eating it like a caveperson as you wander around.

All the same? Hardly. MGM burgers are simply terrible. And provided by a different company then MK and Epcot. Not to mention, you have to pay for cheese sauce at MGM where it's free on the toppping bar in MK. If you eat burgers at the World as much as we do, trust me, the differences become very obvious. (So if you want a burger, stick to Pinocchio or Cosmic Ray's in MK or American Experience in Epcot.)

Pinocchio Village Haus has really good burgers - and free cheese. And for desert, you can't ever go wrong with a Dole Whip Float from Aloha Isles! :)
