An unpronounceable symbol, ?,referred to as "The-Theme-Park-Formerly-Known-As-Disney-MGM-Studios."
I love that line!!! I say it all the time!!!A Salute To All Cinema, But Mostly Star Wars.
IP is Intellectual Property. Star Wars, Toy Story, Mickey Mouse, etc.. or as it may be assumed if you spend enough time here, IP is something that should never be in Epcot because it's the devil.
UmFound this on Theme park insider that was talking about a Twitter post that showed a Disney Parks survey that show the list of the potential names for the park...

Except DHS isn't themed around moviemaking anymore (and hasn't been for some time now.)I think something like "Mickey Mouse Studios" is a cool name, along the lines of @POLY LOVER's "Studio Mickey" idea. Not only is it a memorable one that keeps the "studio" part, but it even fits in with a new backstory for the park that I came up with.
My storyline is that Mickey Mouse has built a new movie studio, and each land is a backlot set for famous franchises:
Disney is also planning tons of new areas for DHS like Monsters Inc. so this concept, personally, is an interesting one.
- Visit Mickey in the main Chinese Theater building
- Go to the huge Star Wars - Galaxy's Edge movie set
- Enter the animated world of Toy Story Land
- Watch a screening of the new Muppet movie
- Become actors in a new episode of The Twilight Zone
- Witness a live filming of "Fantasmic"
- Meet Aerosmith in their recording studio
I kinda like "Disney's Cinemagic Adventure." As many people point out, it's no longer Studio themed. It's also really not Hollywood themed anymore (except in terms that Hollywood is associated with movies). The point is that the theme is no longer a behind-the-scenes experience but instead is an attempt to enter into the stories of the movies. As such, the made-up (but Disney-ish) word "cinemagic" seems to capture what they are attempting with this park. Then "adventure" rather than "park" because "park" just seems kind of bland.
Aren't they already? I'm not saying that I want any of these to go. I just lack the imagination to see how these remnants of DHS fit with the new direction as expressed in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land. I think the mere fact that Tower of Terror was discussed for a Guardians of the Galaxy makeover shows that the "Hollywood" part of the park is considered rather expendable.Yeah. The problem of getting rid of "Hollywood" means that these could be expendable at any time: Chinese Theater, Hollywood Blvd., Sunset Blvd, Hollywood Tower of Terror, Rockin' Roller Coaster (in LA), Hollywood Brown Derby, etc.
