My best friend and I went in 2004 and she purchased a Stitch toy. Well everytime we came back from the parks Stitch was in the window looking out or tucked into the bed. Very cute, it gave us something to look forward to when coming back to the hotel.

Back in 1998 when Beanie Babies were first getting really popular, my nieces bought every one of the Disney ones. One day, the maid put all the water ones, (Ariel, Flounder etc) in the bathtub. One day, they were sitting on the blinds peaking out, and another she strung toilet paper over the bed, wrapped around some of them with the paper ending up in Goofy's hand.

Last year, our maid maid a pig out of the towels and left my nieces bunny tucked in the covers holding the TV remote. A second day she took the cushions from the day bed (we were staying at the Poly) and with a few towels, she created an elephant.

I have the cutest one, I should have taken a pic of it! When we just moved down here we stayed at the Coronado for like 5 days before we moved into our house. I have a big Stitch stuffed animal that I take everywhere with me, and I came back from park hopping one day, and my Stitch was sitting on the corner of the bed watching TV which was turned towards him and pulled out and the funniest part was that Lilo and Stitch the Series was on! :)

We had lots of different ones on our 2000 trip to the CBR. My favourite was the moose we bought in Epcot was on the phone with a note saying, "Help! I have lost all my friends, call 911!!" The maid had hidden the other animals around the room, it was soooo cute!

When we've stayed at the All Stars, our spinners and dolls were always arranged in the window waiting for us. I don't remember anything special being done while we were at the Poly.

DS has a giant Komodo that we got at AK.

We've found it in the tub, peeking from under the bed, hiding in the closet, climbing the bunks, and hiding under the covers.

relaxing

Goofy goes with us on every trip. In our last stay @ AKL he was typically reading the Disney magazine and watching Disney cartoon channel upon our return to the room (remote in hand, I might add).

Forgot to add that this last trip we stayed at the Boardwalk Inn and were greated upon checkin with a facecloth bunny and an elephant sitting on top of the armoire.

We stayed at the Pop Century in February and I was so hopign that they would do something for us. Everyday we left the room and walked by the rooms that had decorated windows and the towel animals. After visiting Epcot and bilding the robots in Innoventions, they ended up in our window. A few days later, i got my wish - mousekeeping left us two birds in a little boat. They are so cute. If I remember, I'll post a picture later.

We are staying at All-Star Music next month and I am hoping that they will do more. I LOVE them!

Koda vs. Stitch

When we last went, my in-laws were footing the bill, and they put my hubby (then fiance) and I in a room with his sister and her fiance at the Yacht Club. I brought my stuffed Koda with me, and he occassionally was watching TV, with the remote under his paw. We were on the concierge level, so they would turn down the beds at night. We would often return to the room to find that Koda had apparently found some chocolates and was guarding them for us.

Later in the trip, my hubby's sister bought a Stitch. Thereafter, it became a point of (light-hearted) debate as to who had found the chocolate, and who was watching it to make sure it didn't get eaten by the other. Since Koda had always faithfully guarded the chocolate in the past, I felt quite sure that I was right in assuming he was protecting it for us.
