So much to do and so little time

Okeydokey, gang, here's the thing. I'm going to WDW in like about 4 weeks. And I'm really excited, but I have one minor problem. You see, I'm not gonna have much time in all the parks. I'm going for a compitition thing for my school. If you've been there recently, or are going in a few days or weeks, check Epcot's parking lot. You see that big setup that they're working on? That's for us. Anyway, we're staying at Port Orleans and I was wondering what you'd recommend the most for going and doing. I haven't been there for 4 years now, so I'm sure I've missed quite a bit. So, any thoughts or ideas?

Hey grimgringhost, you're going to competition. Sounds cool. Listen, I went on the 7-night Land and Seav Vacation in March 2001. I had 3 days in Disney World and 4 days on the cruise. I went to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Typhoon Lagoon in 3 days. I had spent a good amount of time in each park. All you have to do is pick the parks you think might be good. I definetly recommend that you talk to friends who are Disney fanactics. I'm a Disney fanactic, but there are not enough words to describe everything. No matter what you do, you'll have a wonderful time. Trust me.

Ha ha, fastpass! I've got a physical disability, can't walk for a long time without my messed up feet hurting. Take a wheelchair, that's even faster. :hammer:

Saw that a couple of weeks ago (they were just getting started with the setup). Just curious... will that be some kind of robot competition, or what?

What's new? hmmm...
  • Dino-rama at DAK... with the spinning "wild mouse" type coaster
  • Illuminations - Reflections Of Earth
  • Tapestry of Dreams parade at Epcot
  • Magic Kingdom's parade also worth seeing.
  • "One Man's Dream" exhibit and film at the Studios.

If you haven't seen Fantasmic. . SEE IT!!! If its the only thing you do..
Obviously all the original stuff.
I've done a performance thing many years ago. Performed with my h.s. band marching through epcot. THe best way to do it is hit your favorites so you don't have any regrets

If you dig roller coasters definetly go to the studios and ride the rock'n'roller coaster!!! Fantasmic is also awesome. Or if you haven't been to animal kingdom check that out. I can't remember what year test track opened but that is also an awesome ride. And of course you'll want to stop at the magic kingdom!!! So much to do so little time!!!

I'm going for six nights in september and I already know there isn't enough time to do what we want. Oh, well. We will just have to go back. :animwink:

Test Track is a must-ride. And if you want to ride it, get a fastpass, and to get a fastpass, get there before noon.

This August, I got to TT at 11AM and got a Fastpass for 5:30PM, so they go FAST.

Yeah, it's a robot compitition. I just got back from Chicago about an hour ago. We were competing there for five days. If any of you guys are gonna be around in the next few weeks, you should go check it out. It's called First Robotics, it was started by the guy who made "it" if you know what that is. This is gonna be soo fun, they basically shut down epcot for all the teams to run around in. I can't wait!!!
