So many issues with linking UK bookings

I posted before about not being able to link my UK tickets to MDE. They are linked now, but my ticket is showing as being activated and will expire the day we arrive! Another 2 hours on the phone to Disney to try and sort this, but the general answer is deal with it when arrive at the park! This is ontop of the 8+ hours I had trying to sort the tickets linking to begin with, would only show mine and my husbands tickets and was saying we hadn't booked for our daughter. Turns out they had given me the wrong ticket numbers to begin with!!!!!

So I have now booked a night in a resort, and yet again it can't be linked. I spent an hour on the phone yesterday and they couldn't give me another reference number (which is what it says they can do on the website FAQ's). So will have to give that another go a bit later.

Thankfully my MNSSHP tickets did link fine!

Just wondering why there is such an issue with UK tickets? I booked it all through Disney directly, so it's Disney reference numbers etc. Is frustrating. Do hope they can sort the resort booking in time to customise the magicbands (was told we would get them, so at least that is one thing!)

I haven't been invited to anything (thought it was just the bands/booking fastpasses etc that were to be invited to). I just wanted to link my dining reservation, tickets etc on the MDE page, and as far as I was told, that was fine to do as the MDE page and app was saying to put details in. When I called about it, they couldn't understand why I couldn't link it.
We have booked a night in a resort, so am hoping to be invited to test the bands etc, well I have been told I would when I called to ask about something else.
I am just confused now!

Everything was all paid in full. Just seems like I was unlucky with all my reservations! Thankfully, after a few days Disney gave me another booking number for my resort booking so that linked fine. As one of my tickets is showing as activated (they don't know why) they are sending us hard tickets in the post, so should be able to link those when they arrive.
I think it must be a UK side thing, as my MNSSHP tickets and dining reservations linked themselves! But am sure they will get it sorted soon.

On a side note, when the resort linked, we automatically got offered magicbands - yay!!!!!

Woo hoo to the magicbands!! I'm really looking forward to the possibility of using these. I'm not paid in full yet so I guess I'll have to wait, makes sense. And hopefully it might work better when I try otherwise I'll go your route! I'm looking forward to trying out all of MDE :)

@PrincessVic when you had your reservation and tickets finally linked, did it show all members of your party in the ticket reservations section?
My resort reservation is showing as a UK package, 2 adults, dining etc... but under the tickets bit it is only showing my name and a 14 day ticket... what did yours say when it all got corrected? Thanks!

Not sure about a UK package but here in the states you have till 45 days out to pay in full for your trip. Since you are required to make your FP+ reservations 60 days out I cant see why full payment would be a requirement. @wdwmagic am I missing something?
