What do you guys think of Monster's Inc Laugh Floor Comedy Club? MI is my favorite Disney movie, and I'd hate for this to suck. Plus it was on the Disney channel not 10 minutes ago. So how is it?

Also, does it have a gift shop? I need a Mike Wazowski plush. I don't need one with him and Sulley.

Mixed reviews. I thought it was cute. Some people hate it. At the very least, the technology is very cool. The jokes are aimed more towards kids, but I get a chuckle out of it.

No gift shop but there's plenty of plush up on Main Street in the Emporium.

I loved it, and was surprised. The humor is cute, but it cracked me up more than I thought it would. I ended up seeing it three times

Go for yourself and make your own opinion I think. If you love MI, then you'll probably love MILF

From what I've heard too it depends on what the jokes are like. If peopel are texting jokes that suck than I'm sure the show will not be great.

Ok...well, I don't want to spoil it, but basically expect most of those "text in" jokes to be the "corny" kind of jokes. To me, the funniest bits were the other parts of the show, and a funny show always depends on the audience.

I'll give it one thumb up. It was mildly funny. I wasn't completely blown away. I think I would have been more impressed with the technology if I hadn't seen TTWC about a dozen time already. Overall though I'd say it was "cute". It's not a must see for me though.

I went in expecting the worst after reading some not so great reviews and I ended up liking it. Obviously the jokes are going to be corny, but the audience participation and reactions was what made it pretty funny. I would make time for it in future trips.

I would definetely say see it for yourself, I think since you said you liked the movie then you would like the show.

Me on the other hand I thought it was stupid and corny and not worth any kind of wait. But thats just me.

I've been 3 times so far and I have to say it TOTALLY depends on the crowd that you're with.

Twice I enjoyed the show and it was becuase there was a great audience not afraid to laugh and have a good time.

Once it was horrible mostly because the place was so silent you could hear a pin drop.

And yes a lot of the monsters do the same thing each show but still unique to each so if that makes sense. So it's not like it was a completely different show that wasn't as funny.

Maybe that was the problem when I went.
It was my least favorite ride/show on our last visit - yes, worse that SGE. I wouldn't go on it again.

Very true. I saw it 3 times and at least one of those times it wasn't AS funny because of the audience. When the audience plays along and isn't afraid to laugh at themselves, the show is a lot of fun.

I saw it on my last trip (late May ear. June) and I thought it was great. I honestly had no idea what to expect. It was cute and funny and I loved how they tied the audience in with the show. The animation was a little choppy, but it didn't bother me that much. Overall, it was a really fun show.

DS12 and I saw the show twice last week and we both enjoyed it. They only use two test-in jokes and they seemed to be the standard pre-pubescent humour from kids - nothing raunchy or potty-humour, just "Why did X do Y? Because W" type. The rest of the show is a combination of canned improv-style audience interaction and some stock jokes.
