So if Princess Leia...

They only got married in the books that followed the 6th movie, not written by Lucas and thus not Disney's. In the Disney Realm they are not married (Yet?). The Rumor is that Disney will not be using any material from any of the books so in Disney's eyes they may never be married. So at this point they are just dating, could still be a nice Meet and Greet.

Please no... Leia is not a Disney Princess ( as she was not created by Disney) please stop the insanity. While I would like to see Star Wars additions to HWS . Let's not soften the charecters up even more.

Novels are canon. Disney can't change that.

The novels are not canon. They are just an extension of the franchise. Lucas agreed to let writers 'play in his sandbox' so to speak but when Disney makes their sequels, they are not obligated to use anything from the EU and anything in those sequels would be official canon and trump anything in the books. They are glorified fan fiction. I have read the books when I was younger and enjoyed a few of them but I knew back then they were not 'what really happened.' If the reader enjoys those stories and wants to refer to them as canon, that's their perogative but in the grand scheme of things, the books are not in the same league as the movies. Same with video games and TV shows.

Anyway, Lucas was very strict with his property. The novels are apart of Lucasfilm, I believe. and therefore Disney does receive those stories in the deal. I could be wrong though because all this franchise/business stuff is very complicated. In the books, Han and Leia do get married so if you wanted to, you can consider Han a Disney prince....though it gets more complicated then that since Leia's kingdom had been destroyed a few years prior...ok, I am stopping now before my real geekiness starts to show, lol

And I mentioned this in another post, but I would say 'no' to Vanellope since she rejects her princess title and prefers, instead, the title of president.

No, nothing official. We are just having some fun with the idea that since Leia is a princess and is now owned by Disney, she could be considered a Disney princess. It probably won't happen, but there are already some cute pictures out on the net regarding it.

I can't remember if he was out this year. I thought I heard someone say he was but I assumed the line would be outside the park so I didn't bother looking for him. I didn't hear anymore about it so I have a feeling he wasn't out. Instead, I got Luke who is my favorite and he didn't disappoint! I would love if they were out more often in the parks. I absolutely loved SSW and hope I get to go again soon.
