Well, it's all about the expectations. I went in expecting another fiasco like Reloaded and was pleasently surprised. The Neo-Smith fight was cool, the squid invasion was awsome, we spent that whole sequence saying: "dudes, go home, apologize to the machines and ask to be put back in the matrix and MAYBE you won't die." The ending was stupid, but I suppose I was half expecting that. And as far as I'm concerned, all questions I had were answered. Now why the crap create characters like the French and his wife if they're not gonna be given a proper ending. Stupid... Only one doubt, though: what was Sati supposed to be? Another Neo?

And I gotta say THANKS ROB for giving the ending away before I got to watch the frickin' movie!!! Why the heck do you call people to visit your page and then plaster the ending of a movie like Matrix there in big bold letters without even a warning? Lousy son of a...

Yes, back with “Reloaded” they were saying that “Revolutions” would be the last one but with the release of “Revolutions” they are doing a lot of double speak. I think that the intent behind the statement of this being the end is that it will be the end of the story with these main characters.

I mean, they call what has been released so far a trilogy but there is the game and the Animatrix series which both play into the overall story but don’t really have a lot to do with the main characters from the first movie…

I’m guessing they are looking to launch a franchise sort of like Star Trek or Star Wars where if there aren’t any more feature length films based on these characters there will probably be books, more games, possibly more anime and down the road more movies or a series of some sort based on other characters living in the world that they end up with in the end.

This would explain why we never see what happens to some of the other characters that were introduced in the two most recent movies. In a sense, the big story is over but things aren’t exactly perfect. There is still enough conflict here and there to sell us more of something.

That’s my guess, anyway.

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
Well... I just got back... I thought Revolutions was OK... I mean it was good... but I dont see what everyone is !ing about, saying its Pi$spoor.... Its a decent action flick.... and the dialog is no more predictable than any other action movie.

I think some people who are b!tching about this movie are just looking a little too deep... and are looking for all the answers.

It had decent closure... and I am happy. :)

Who thinks Keanu was blindfolded only because they couldn't get any good acting out of him? It was so funny in the theater, people were just laughing at the Trinity scene.

They should create a special category at the next MTV Movie Awards just for Revolutions, "Longest Death Scene". The girl was impaled by several rods and she just kept on talking! After the first 5 minutes I was half expecting Neo to use some of his funky hand movements to save her AGAIN.
