Is there honestly any creative way to start an introduction post on a forum? I'm kind of doubting it.

I'm Brittany, former Disney Cast Member, and someone in desperate need of a good Disney forum to debate on. I did the College Program Spring-Fall 2012, working at Tom Sawyer Island, Country Bear Jamboree, the Emporium, and a whole mess of other places.

I like Fantasmic and Treasure Planet, and fall on my face a lot.

Nice to meet you all.

(Also, if any of you are on tumblr, I go by the same username.)

Welcome!!!:)

If you like to debate you have come to the right place:eek:. Seriously though, great to have another cast member on here...it is always great to have some "from the horse's mouth" info from the inside!

Ignore haters...do not feed the trolls and whatever you do don't mention napkins, horizons or ECV's!!!!

EDIT: DO NOT MENTION BRAZILLIAN TOUR GROUPS UNLESS IT IS TO HATE ON THEM!!! LOL

Omg, the Brazilian Tour Groups. Don't even get me started on them. I still have nightmares from the time I watched about 200 of them in red shirts running across the Tomorrowland Bridge. I was working that day, and the second my manager saw them, he yelled for some to alert Space Mountain pronto.

I guess my first question would be do you still feel the magic??? OR are you OVER the Magic??? :)

I will never be over the magic. Working at Disney just made me appreciate it more. :)

Welcome!

If you are looking for debates on WDW, you've come to the right forum!;)

I hope you don't hurt yourself when you fall!

Only sometimes. At this point in my life, I think my body just sort of prepares for it xD

Since you're new, let me ask you one about one of my favorite topics. What do you think of the water parks?

I can only offer my opinion on Typhoon Lagoon, because I've never been to Blizzard Beach.

TBH, I'm not really a waterpark type person in the first place. I mean, they can be fun, but they're not my first choice. That being said, Typhoon Lagoon is the best I've been to. All the Cast Members are friendly, it's clean, I appreciate that the dress code is more strongly enforced than other places, and the assortment of attractions is decent. Love the Lazy River, but that's not really a unique concept on Disney's part. The only real tiff I had with it was how expensive (and yeah, I know it's Disney, but still) the lockers/merchandise were. But what else is new?

I am glad you are a "I still feel the magic" person because the negative Magic people... really get on my nerves... So welcome Sunshine :)

Haha, thank you xD Pretty sure the magic will never go away.

So what are your WDW favorites?

As you probably can tell, I've always liked both waterparks. I'm a big fan of Tower of Terror too. Just walking into DHS and seeing it in the distance is exciting. I start getting giddy walking down Sunset Blvd.

I remember the first time I road Tower Of Terror in August 1994. It was pretty soon after it first opened. We stood in the line and waited about an hour, the longest we had ever waited for an attraction up till that point. The queue area was so rich and set such a mood that we didn't mind.

As soon as we got off, our reaction was "Wow, that was totally awesome!" No one in the party questioned our decision to get back in line and wait another 60 minutes.

Fantasmic. (Although I do prefer DL's.) Always Fantasmic. Beyond that, Expedition Everest, Splash Mountain, the PeopleMover, Mission: Space, Kilimanjaro Safari, Festival of the Lion King, Tower of Terror, etc. The list goes on and on.

Haha, that's dedication. The longest I think I've waited for a ride was 60 minutes for Splash Mountain. But as mentioned before, it's one of my favorites, so that's not really a surprise.
