So excited!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I just wanted to share my excitement! I found out last week that the International Food and Wine Expo will be going on at Epcot while we are there. It made my week :)

Can anyone else here, who has attended it, give me any insights into it? Any tips, etc?
Are there guest chef's there most days throughout the Expo?

I do see that one perk to it going on, is that you can sample dishes from all over, for a bit cheaper than if you were to go and order a regular dish there.
That should be nice! I love sampling food!

This site has always posted menus, pics, and events in the past. Get your to-eat&drink list ready in advance and plan!

Don't worry about a long line if you really want something. They are very organized and the lines move fast.

Use a gift card. Very convenient. The cashiers can load them at the booths. Maybe they will have that magic band thing working.

I didn't think it was that crowded, even on weekends. More than usual but you can get around OK.

This is a fabulous event. There are kiosks set up all throughout the World Showcase for countries around the world (both those with Disney Pavillions and those without). You can go from kiosk to kiosk and sample the food or drink. If you're on the Dining Plan, you can use your snack credits for food which is a great thing to do. If you go earlier in the day, the crowds should be okay. You'll love it!

Be sure to check out the concert series schedule when it's released. See who will be performing when you are there. It's always a highlight of our F&W trip.

We were there on Veterans Day weekend last year. Some of the worst crowds and lines that we'd ever experienced at Epcot. We ended up by-passing most of the booths, because they had 45-60 minute waits.

The year before we went in October around Halloween and it was quite manageable.

There was this little half-marathon thing going on that Saturday night. The party after the race wasn't crowded. ;) We went back Sunday and it wasn't bad but we weren't there Friday or Saturday.

@Texas84, thanks for the tip about making a to-eat/drink list! that is a great idea and will definitely be on my list of things make out before we leave.

@Disvillain63,we will be there the weekend before Halloween. Hoping the crowds won't be too bad! I can imagine going right on a holiday would be quite a bit busier.

@MattC, will definitely watch for the concert series to be posted! I'm also "patiently" waiting to hear who the celebrated chefs will be :)

@rob45 and @JillC LI - no doubt I will love it! I do enjoy wine and food very much :) I was quite thrilled to find out its going on at that time!!
