usually the first full day back is a blur....you know your home, you see all the same things, you start to settle in again, but you just cant help thinking, "man, this time last week was our first morning in WDW".....i usually go over the days in my head, thinking, "a week ago now, we were eating at pecos bills" etc....and with each vacation we go on, only when we get back from WDW, i feel like this lol...just goes to show how special a place WDW is....and of course i start planning for the next trip...

I sooo do this....every day for a week. I try to make sure I have our next trip booked BEFORE we leave WDW. It's easier to convince the DH while he is still adequately sprinkled in pixie dust and warmly enveloped in the Disney Bubble.

That's the worst feeling!!! I don't know how to make it go away. The one thing I recommend is, like others have said, start planning the next one. Make a list of things you didn't do that you want to try next time. Make a list of things you did that you don't think you want/need to do again. For us, that included going back to MNSSHP. That's how I cope with the fact that right now my brother and his family and my parents are in WDW sans me because I know we wanted to go back to MNSSHP, so we're going in September. The other way I cope is that they will soon be home without a trip to look forward to and I will have all summer to look forward to my trip. It's mean, but hey, it helps.

Heck, we just got back a few weeks ago and immediately started planning our next trip!
This is exactly what I do! Once I get home, house is back in order, suit cases put away, grocery shopping done, post Disney trip depression sets in. I grab the calendar for the following year, and decide which dates I'll book for the next trip. Then discuss it with my family endlessly until we head for the airport to head back! ;)
