If I'm a local and buy these for family that is out of state will all their IDs be checked too?

I believe CMs are supposed to check IDs, but in my experience this is inconsistently enforced. I went with a friend this past summer who'd purchased a 3-day ticket, and she forgot her ID in her car. Fortunately for us, the CM at the front gate didn't ask for it.
