I never really had time to stop in any of those during the periods we have a rental car. There was just too many other things I felt like doing more.

You can walk down hotel Blvd and there's at least 4 down the road...And no I haven't rented a car (this will be my first year doing it in Orlando) and no I have Not bought anything in it..I just like to go to them since they are roadside filler to go to..I found the picture on Google as an example..

Ahhh, ok. I'm not familiar enough with the whole wdw propert and Orlando layout just yet. Sorry I assumed you had, I thought that photo was one you took! :)

One Little Spark...
Which airport? Hartsfield is far from the worst airport in the US...

Try Dallas/Ft Worth for that (in my estimation)...Memphis, as a passenger airport is pretty bad as well (great freight airport, just ask Fedex).

GA is ok. I prefer TN. Far better than SC though (if we are comparing neighbors).

prefer to do my shopping in DTD, then again..i lived only 40minutes from the world so there wasn't any reason for me to stop at outside stores when i made the trip west, so who knows.

We usually make a trip to the Disney Character Warehouse at the Vineland Premium Outlets right outside DTD. It's all merchandise from the parks that were either not popular sellers or are from a previous holiday. I've gotten many of the hat ear ornaments for $3.00-$5.00... it's definitely a hidden gem worth stopping at.
