I love snowglobes. I do not collect them though (lack of money!). But my sister does. She's got quite a lot now!

WOW!

Somehow I wound up with about 50 of them upstairs in the spare bedroom.....please.....don't ask! :hammer:

It's easy to do when you visit the parks and have a very special friend who works at the Disney Store! :animwink:

Actually, they are getting much better lately with the light up features and the battery operated pump that makes the snow go forever! ALL snow globes should have that feature!!

I have that one too CRISKENNEDY!!! It's really awesome in "in person".

There's a demand at times on E-bay for some of them, but I like them right where that at right now!

Guess it's better than some of the other stuff that people collect!

I collect snowglobes...I think I have around 15 now, but they're not all Disney.

Here's a question though...I really wanted to get one on my last trip to WDW, but how the heck do you get it back home safely if you fly? Especially now that they search EVERYTHING!! They completely ripped all my mom's stuff apart at the gate, including ripping apart a styrofoam box that had something breakable in it. Doesn't really make me feel safe spending $80 on something...only to have it break on the trip home.

And this is exactly why we didn't bring any home when we flew for one of our trips. Could you have WDW ship it home for you?

I have tons of the Disney Snowglobes. It's my "big" collection. Most of them are either from WDW or BandB. I have the BandB one that someone posted a pic of. It was my big present. Although I did get 4 Disney Snowglobes for Christmas. My mom gets them when they go on sale :D

Hey ORANGE!

One of the best features of buying stuff at Disney is that hey ship the stuff home for you right from the store (or from your Resort Gift Shop.)

The packing is excellent and I have never had one thing broken or "lost". In fact, I sent home all of my Christmas gifts this year and they packed them WAY better than I ever would have!
Everything was perfect!

Try it next time you go!

:sohappy:

Thanks for the tip....how much do they charge for shipping though? I don't like getting ripped off on that type of stuff...

The good news is....the prices are VERY fair!
I think they're about the same as if you took it to UPS or FED-EX yourselt to send.
I was surprised there was no extra charges for packing by the CMs either!
They are VERY good at what they do....and Disney hasn't tried to fund a new park with the shipping charge profits like they do on the $14 churros! HAHA!

LOL...$14 churros!

Thanks for the info...I'll need to seriously consider picking up one or two snowglobes on my next trip.

I have 1 Disney Snowglobe. I wish I had A LOT MORE! I have Sorceror Mickey calling the Brooms as they walk up the steps. I have a question. Do they have a snowglobe for each park? Like MK, Epcot, MGM, AK. I know they have an Epcot one. And they have tons of MK. But what about MGM and AK?

I love them too! I have 14 of them. I need to get a bigger display case before I can buy any more of them. My favorite is the Peter Pan pirate ship. But I love them all though. It's so hard to pick just one at a time; there's so many I want! Someday, when I've got more $$$$, I want to collect cartoon cells. I love Disney art. I want to have a room that's just dedicated to Disney art and collectables. That'd be cool!
