Under the Universal page of the WDWMAGIC forums, some people asked for some pictures of the monorail station that never opened at Suess Landings, IOA, so here they are...

Heres a car that they run around the track sometimes with no people in it.

If you look above the "suess-like" buildings, you could see the white tent that covers the station.

The Green building is storage for the cars, and you can see part of the purple track.

I'm sorry, but I'm having another senior moment! Please tell me again, what was the official explanation for not opening this attraction?

I just found your other post, which answers my question; well, sort of. I guess there is no "official" answer.

Universal seems to have a knack for leaving constructed attractions empty without any explanation. The Jaws attraction was built right along with the rest of Universal Studios before it opened but it sat with nothing going on for years and Universal just played it off like there wasn't even a ride back there. I remember seeing part of the empty waterway from the backside for the first time around 11 years ago and thinking how strange it looked. Of course, from the back, it can be a little hard to tell where you are in the park and I didn't at first realize what it was... BTW, in case anyone is curious, the ride did not initially open with the park because it did not operate properly and Universal was tied up with big lawsuits both with the company that designed it and the company that constructed it which halted any efforts to fix and open the attraction for quite a while...

i cant believe that was actually supposed to be a ride. i thought universal had just spent money on some stupid car rolling around a track. the only problem with that ride would be if it broke down you are stuck in the middle of nowhere with no way of getting off it. i remember jaws when it was new and after the long re-work. i think i liked it better before but i like the new end better. do you remember the shark would grab the front of the tour boat and spin you around?

Oh yeah it was awsome. it was after you came out of the boat house. he came up to the left side and grabed hold of the front. The tour boat would spin around. it was unbelieveable, i think i had it on video. back when they blew him up with the air cannon.
