Today the new Starbucks opened at Downtown Disney, right near the tram loading area for trams to/from the 10,000 space Mickey & Friends Parking Structure.

Unlike the two Starbucks already inside the parks in Disneyland and DCA, this location is operated and staffed by Starbucks employees instead of CM's. And this new store is really a big one, and appears to be a flagship store of sorts for Starbucks with all their latest gizmos and products, bells and whistles, including the Clover coffee press system, big video walls, interactive video "chalkboards", a huge retail space, LEED certification, blah, blah, blah.

And to take advantage of the nearly-perfect SoCal climate, this location has one of the largest patios of any Starbucks in the world. Lots of indoor/outdoor dining spaces at this big Starbucks, that's for sure!

Built in the corner ground floor of a wing of the Grand Californian Hotel, it fronts Downtown Disney directly across from World of Disney.

A very stylish and hip looking environment, that really brings the Downtown Disney aesthetic and vibe into the 2010's. And it's literally steps across from the parking lot tram unloading zones where tens of thousands of people per day begin and end their Disneyland visit!

Yeah... I'm thinking this is going to be one of the busiest and most successful Starbucks on the planet.

What do you think?

Starbucks is on a theme park roll! New Starbucks in DL, DCA, DTD Anaheim, MK, Epcot, DTD Orlando, IOA, and CitWalk Orlando.

Apparently, theme parks fans love good coffee!
