Snagging a hard to get ADR

My ADR window opens up tomorrow. :) But I have to say I am worried about trying to snag Be our Guest. Just looking the last 2 days, and it is sold out the day of:banghead:. I have the date I really want it, which is arrival night, and then a date later on that I could make work. Should I try and book the date farther in, thinking less people have had a chance to get that one, and then try for the first day or our trip? Or should I go for the date I really want first and then try and get the fill in date if that one doesn't work?

My advice to you would be to grab whatever you can and then once you have secure reservation, keep trying for what you want. People change, cancel etc so try a few times a day if you can. We had dinner at BOG last month and it was one of the best meals I have ever had in the park....maybe it was the anticipation, maybe the ambiance but my steak was cooked to perfection.
Good Luck and Have a magical Trip! :cat:

First book what you can get so you know youll have a chance at eating at BOG during your trip. If you have an ADR date & time that you really want keep trying. Dont give up on it. Try booking both on line and by calling in. I've had ADRs come up as booked online and then when I called in the CM was able to get me one. Either way there are a lot of guests who book multiple choices then cancel as their dates get nearer, plans change or trips get cancelled. If you want it bad enough keep plugging away and you might get in.

I would book the farthest out first since you have been scouting and your preferred first date is booked. Make sure when you log on (and do this BEFORE 6am) that you immediately go to BOG, then look for your later date, if you snag it great, but you can then still try to snag one for your arrival date.

There has apparently been an issue trying to book any dinners in Magic Kingdom past 6pm for late September/October - it looks like the system is treating every night like it's a MNSSHP night even when no party is scheduled. Keep checking back and hopefully it will become available soon.

Don't lose hope! I recently booked my June trip to Disney (when I booked it was about 75 days out) and I managed to snag TWO reservations to Be Our Guest for dinner! I canceled the one I didn't want, but I feel like as it gets closer more people will be canceling their reservations. Just keep checking whenever you can and something should open up. :)

In November, I grabbed 180 days out a lot of good ADRs, including multiple days/times for the same restaurant, for a potential late May/early June trip. The trip isn't going to happen (consolatiion prize: one week at the beach at family condo. I can live with that) and I gave up all the ADRs. Will do this again in late April for a more definite trip the week of 10/31.

The beginning of September is the same. This is the first time I have not been able to snag a reservation for BOG since it opened.

Apparently,no reservations are available past 6pm any day in September in MK . Even days that the MNNSHP is not scheduled. I was told the parks will close at 7pm every day by the WDW dining folks. When I pointed out the actual closing dates the response was well, then that,s all the reservations that were released. They told me to wait and perhaps someone will cancel and I can possibly grab that one. I said, then you are saying someone actually was able to book after 7pm? She changed her response again. Clearly dialing in at 6am on day 180 starting with day 190 bought me nothing as far as a 7pm or later reservation.E mails to Disney are now answered with irrelevant boiler plate responses.

Just scored a BOG ressie for six for 10/1 after 6pm. They had others available too. Keep checking back!

Edited to add: they had a 6:10 and 6:20 available, but still not seeing an availability for anything beyond 6:30 at any MK TS restaurant.

Yeah I didn't see anything from 6:50 on. I grabbed a 6:10.

If you're on property then you can book all your ADRs on the first day it opens up, and so I'd book BOG towards the end of the week, when non on property folks cannot book that time frame.

I just managed to switch my Cinderella castle dinner to 8pm on 28 September from 5.50pm on 5 October So it looks like they opened up some later time spots. Still couldn't find anything at BOG on the two days I was planning on spending at MAgic Kingdom. Hopefully you all can get some better reservation times now for dinner

I hope I'm able to do this for 'Ohana! I have tried booking ( sadly we booked our trip 49 days out). There are no times at all June 2-8.:banghead:
