Snacks to bring in the park

Usually when we go to the parks we try to bring snacks in with us to save money. Since we're especially tight for money on this trip I was wondering what some of your favorite snacks to bring in the park are so that we can really enjoy our sack lunches.
-Thanks!

We also do the same. We bring a lot of sandwiches but mix it up by making them not only with plain bread, but we'll put them in a pita pocket or wrapped in a tortilla. Cheese and crackers, granola/cereal bars, beef jerky, trail mix, cold pizza and fruit are also favorites. Also I wouldn't be able to live without bottled water and crystal light packs !!

Happy Planning !

I like to carry the Lance crackers. (peanut butter, cheese, creme cheese). Also, the single serving cookies like Famous Amos are good. And I always carry a banana or an apple.

We bring lots of water bottles and snacks that won't get the kids sticky or hot in the heat. Pretzels, granola bars, mini chip bags, crackers, mini cookie bags and juice boxes (not juice bags bc the kids squeeze them too much and get wet). Eateries and carts will give you cups of ice so that is good for refilling a water bottle or throwing a juice box in for a few minutes to chill up a bit.

we do fruits, crackers, items that would be school lunches so i know who will eat what, nothing that melts or is to sticky. drinks either water bottles or juice boxes, oh...and last all adult trip we brought rum in an alternate container. we figured the disney buses are designated drivers for a reason.

we do crackers, water, flavoring packs, cereal bars, etc. Don't do fruit snacks, if it's hot, they melt. For crackers like cheezits, I buy in bulk and do sandwich bags. Makes it easier to put a bunch in the bag. I bring cereal bars for missed meals from napping or tantrums. Tiny snacks like cheerios of those gerber fruit puffs are great for keeping a toddler entertained. Sometimes, the snacks are actually preferred over kids meals. My kids would rather eat out of the baby bag than off the menu. Whatever. works for me and my wallet. I bring several grocery bags to the hotel room. I buy the bulk packs of water from WM. Every morning, before we leave, I prep the bag with the day's snacks and water.

lol on new years, I was joking with DH that we could take vodka in MK in baby bottles (we don't have babies so there wouldn't be an "oops"). :ROFLOL:
