these are the credits that come with the DDP right? What exactly can you get with these. I have read such things as funnel cakes and frozen coke slushies but according to the DDP that I printed out only certain snacks were offered (i.e. novilty ice cream bar or fozen fruit bar, fruit, cokes and so on) Can you get more than what the plan designates?

A not-really-published part of the DDP Snack option is that it also includes most "snack like items" under $4. But putting "under $4 in the brochure would open up a can of worms that would cause too many headaches. So, they put the generic items available everywhere in the brochure to give people an idea of what they mean by "snack", and then at each counter, anything that's considered a snack on the DDP will have a purple-and-white DDP logo next to it. (It also gives the individual locations the ability to set what is a snack and what isn't, because the "under $4" rule isn't the only criteria)

Also note that the phrasing they use on the brochure is "Some examples of eligible snack options include". It also says to "Look for this symbol...to identify eligible snack options."

As an example, at Flame Tree BBQ, you can get a corn muffin ($2.29) or onion rings ($3.79) with a snack credit, but not a french fry basket ($3.49). And over at the popcorn stand, you can get popcorn ($2.59) but not a souvenir bucket of popcorn ($3.49).

I think it's any item under $4.00.
You can even get a dole whip at the MK!
Also, you can get a box of donuts at your resort w/ 1 snack credit that you can use for a breakfast it you want to avoid using one of your CS or TS credits.
It always seems that we have snack credits left over at the end of our trips.
If you do, you can trade them for treats such as candy.

As mentioned above, the "under $4" rule isn't the only criteria used to determine what's a snack. (Check the examples I gave in my earlier post) Each location designates what items are a snack on the Plan.

Also, there have been reports in the past week that certain multi-serving-but-under-$4 items in resort gift shops (such as boxes of donuts or larger bags of chips) that had been snacks in the past are no longer considered snack items on the DDP.

I know that the two things I have most commonly used my snack credits on when I had the DDP were bottles waters to stay hydrated when it was a really hot day and also the snow cone like item over at the Japan pavillion.

Most of my snack credits go to Dole Floats... :slurp:

I usually only have CS credits left over.
