Smoking at POFQ

So i posted this before, when WDW announced the resort smoking ban, but it was before it actually went into effect.

Can anyone who has stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter since the smoking ban started, tell me where the designated smoking areas are in the resort?

We are going in September, and Im curious how far we will have to walk to grab a smoke.

My suggestion is to call the resort and ask. I just called All Star Music for this exact same reason last night and was told there are only two smoking sections:
In front of Melody Hall (main building) and in the Country Fair building courtyard.

Try calling this number:
1-407-934-5000
It's the resort number and they should have access to the new maps that feature the smoking sections. Thats how it worked with ASMu at least. It took her a little while to find the locations since they apparently "blend in" with the map colors, but she was able to help.

Hopefully once us smokers start going and getting the new "Resort smoking maps" we can all post them here for others to see. We have to stick together!:lol:

I don't remember noticing where it was in POFQ on my last trip...:shrug: Must be out of the way somewhere.

Smoking is allowed in the parking lot i believe.:wave:

There are actually three at Music: in front of Meloday Hall, the courtyard at Country Fair (between buildings 5 and 6), and by the Jazz In (building 9). Sports and Movies have four smoking areas each, but I do not have the maps at my disposal yet.
