Hello everyone! First time cruiser in Nov 2013 and we will be traveling with my 2.5 year old son. We also will be with our friends and their two sons, ages 5 & 7. We are considering having the kids in the Kiddo Care areas during dinner and then picking them up for the show (we have early seating). Since our little guy is under 3 it looks like he will still be in the nursery vs with the other boys. Any tips, info, etc for utilizing this area? Are the kids fed, or will we feed him before we take him?

Thank you in advance for any assistance!

They will feed them if you like! Or you can do it before you take them if you're more comfortable with that. There's even a napping room if they will sleep.
The nursery is bright and fun, I loved it! I think little ones would have a wonderful time in there!

Thank you for the info! I think he'll have a blast. I'm still struggling with the idea of leaving him there on vacation, but I've read often times the kids prefer the kid areas! We'll see. Thanks again.

It is best to have reservations, especially if you already know the exact times your little one will be in the nursery. At times, all of the slots are taken (not the case for 3+ year olds in the Kids Club). Additionally, you must provide one diaper per hour they are there because Disney requires the workers to change their diaper every hour. There is also a fee per hour (seems like $6). You can book some nursery time before boarding via online check-in (like an excursion).

Our little one enjoyed it! It is very clean an they get proper attention. The only negative we experienced was norovirus upon debarkation :( Poor thing got sick shortly after midnight at Boardwalk. We all ended up with it before our week at WDW was over. It hasn't stopped us from bookig another cruise!

Last note, 6 months to almost three is a wide range and some of the stuff was a little babyish for our 2.5 year old. However, she loved having all of the smaller ones around!
