Greetings all from the Geek Labs

Yes this a small minor little thing I found out last night from a CM friend close to Stitch. I didnt see it mentioned anywhere

The word is our good little alien buddy will spit in the attraction ala Alien Encounter when the Alien blew apart. So be ready for Alien goobers :)

The gun turrents look amazing I was told and the construction is on schedule and coming along nicely.

Glad it's on schedule but I do hope they speed it up.

If I and my group get there and it isn't open it'll be a huge letdown amplified by the fact that nobody can go any later than we're going. 1st week of August was reallypushing people's time limits. So going in sept. or oct. was just out of the question.

But I'll be damned if I'm waiting another 3 years to see it. If it's not open I'm thinking of taking out a loan and going anyway later this year. I and my friends did not plan this sucker and do everything we could to get close to the opening date for an entire year only to come up empty handed.

I'm sorry Stitchfan712. Rumor has it that Sitch won't open until late September for soft openings. I know how you feel. I was hoping to see it when I go next week. Guess I'll have to start planning for next year. :D

It'll be great when E:E gets this far along that people start passing along tidbits of details. ;)

Going to be there Oct 1-9 should I say hello for you? I'd get pictures but I am sure someone will have them up by then already.

You said it! I've always found this amusing, in an online game I used to play alot (subspace), there was an ongoing war as to whether one of the abilities of the game was turret or turrent. I eventually gave up and added flame to the fire by arguing that it was turrent. ;)

 I can't wait to get some Stitch slobber on me....

Actually, I am very excited to see this attraction. I am hoping that when I am there for my birthday in September, that it may be open. If not, there's always the next month.

Thanks for the news, orlpassholder!

Ok, done some work and looks like i might be able to hop down to WDW again on Oct 9 and stay past the 14th, perhaps till the 16th funds permitting. That's just after the "official" opening so i should be set. but I'm still hoping for an open in august anyway.

As far as Meega Na La Qweesta goes...I know that "meega" means "Me" so use your imagination. :D

MEEGNA NA LA QUEESTA!

Could this be the first Disney attraction to feature cursing?

Actually I do not think that this case would be the first Grizz. On the Rock N Roller Coaster track that features "Sweet Emotion" the "A" word is not bleeped out. Sure it's not a huge deal, but I do believe that it would count as having a curse word on a Disney attraction.

Sorry, I'm being a idiot here...Do they say a-s-s?

I'm so excited for Stitch. I just hope my 1yr old nephew won't be scared.

I would have to say that even with the toned down effects and overall family friendly vibe, SGE will probably not be suitable for a 1 year old. The overhead restraints will probably be uncomfortable and the binural sound effects are very realistic. I could be very wrong here, but from what I've read it seems that SGE will still be intense enough to scare VERY little ones.

Yeah. Stitch will need to have a height requirement no matter what do to the nature of the attraction.

Anyway, I will probably never get to enjoy Stitch because my Beloved AE is gone (like how some people just can't enjoy TT or MS here). I will try to enjoy it though.

Oh goodness, I forgot about the overhead restraints. It looks like Austin will have to wait awhile for Stitch. :(

Stitch will still feature periods of complete darkness, loud noises, breathing on your neck, spit, shoulder harnasses jumping up and down. It will still be scary, just much more family friendly--because Stitch isn't scary.

As for the swear word on RnRC, I'm guessing Disney figured a couple things:
A. Most people don't listen closely enough to hear it
B. Most guests meeting the 48" height requirement will have already heard that word (not all, admittedly, but most people who would be listening closely enough to hear the lyrics and not screaming their heads off are Aerosmith fans--generally, little kids would not be Aerosmith fans)

I'm sure if they had gotten any complaints from parents about it, they would bleep it out. Technically, that word is still PG (it's used in Shrek 2, even if it is referring to Donkey, it is said in such a way that you know it's a swear word).

Right. I wasn't complaining or anything. I just thought that this was the first time that word was used in a WDW attraction. The same word is even used in the Shrek 4D queue monitors. When Donkey refers to himself as "Little MC ***". Not offensive, but really funny. And you are exactly right about the way Donkey uses the word in the film as well. Again not offensive, but really funny and clever.
