EPCOT Small construction site in Germany.

Looking over Nearmap I noticed this small construction site in Germany. Probably nothing of any note, but I figured I would post it anyway.

At one point we used to use trailers in that area to do our paperwork for food and wine festival, maybe something more permanent?

I might be wrong, but I'm sure that one of those show buildings aren't being used. And I believe there is another empty show building in Japan as well. Which might help explain why there is mold on the roof

Is that back section the original unused show building? Perhaps they don't want to be the last pavilion to offer an attraction.

I believe so. I saw a picture a while ago, possibly by @marni1971 , that show the load/unload is in the current building with the ride in the area they are clearing.

The dirt is where the ride would have mostly been. The building that was built between it and the promenade was intended to be the ride entrance, queue and load.

Here's how it looked in January in comparison...

The difference is the center free-standing white building is gone and there is now a yellow building (or foundation?) attached.

That roof needs a power washing.

I'm going to take a guess and say they are simply expanding the kitchen infrastructure. Possibly storage and/or entrance/egress doors.

But that could also be a necessary first step in order to add an adjacent attraction.
