Sluggish loading the menu bar at times

My page loads seem to be hung frequently waiting for the widgets.twimg.com site

Some of the css and images are coming from that site and frequently my page loads hang waiting for response to that server.

Yes, currently looking into that. Although it looks like it may be a case of having to either remove it, or live with it.

FWIW... I'm getting delays of 20+ seconds waiting for that site - about 1 out of every 5-7 page loads. I don't think 'live with it' is that practical

Wow that is bad. In testing the most I have had from the Twitter widget is 2 seconds.
