Slinky Dog ride

I would like to know how rough the ride is? I have back problems and stay away from rough rides. I really would like to ride it since it is new but don’t want to take any chances.

I don't think there is a smoother ride, it is not jerky at all, there is even a part of the track that looks as if there are whoopdy whoops, and I can hardly feel them. It would help if you could tell us the roughest ride you can handle and we could make a comparison.

i didn’t think it was rough. if you can ride 7DMT, SM, & BTM, you’ll be fine.

Riding SM will likely cause back problems in and of itself. SDD is about as smooth as they come, although I do think 7DMT is still a bit smoother.

As for smooth riding it is the complete opposite of Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom and Matterhorn of Disneyland........

I wouldn’t consider it rough at all. It’s a smooth coaster, almost as smooth as 7DMT.

I have chronic neck and back issues and loved it. Rode it three times. Super smooth.

Its probably the 2nd smoothest at Disney.. 7dmt is definitely the smoothest, I literally felt zero jolt on the chain lift last night. Anyways slinky is awesome and pretty smooth.

It is extremely smooth. I would place it a step up in thrills from Big Thunder, but it is smoother than Big Thunder. DH rode it 2 weeks ago after suffering a fall on ice at home that severely bruised his ribs, and he was fine on it.
