The refurbishment is scheduled to start on March and end by the end of September.

Wow thats ridiculous. During the busy season? Why wasn't this completed in the offseason? They are gonna get complaints up the wahzoo! Man, sometimes Disney makes some really stupid decisions!:hammer:

Wow so DL, TDL and now DLP pretty much have no fear in scaffolding and tarps all over their castles... though I don't remember what months TDL was.. the outcome is beautiful!

Can't wait to see this one come out from refurbishment.

At the beginning on timetables, it was due to start in early january and end end of June. But there are 9 monthes of work (maybe they will work faster ??? ). So on the maintenance timetables, the castle is due to be under refurbishment from March to end of September. (scaffolding and lift - day and night work)

After some news taken to the workers, it seems, the scaffolding will not go higher that it is now.
The works will be done by lifts.

The castle may remain "viewable" all this year.

haha wow that one looks fake and tacky in comparison to the scrim they use at the Magic Kingdom here in WDW.

My friend really wants to take a trip to Paris this summer...and we're both hoping that the scrim and work on the front of the castle will be completed within the next few months. If it goes all through the summer into September thats just pretty sad.

It's scheduled to all be finished by the start of DLP's summer season, July 9th. So you should be fine if you go after then. At the moment, anything above the scrim is being painted overnight using cranes.
