Skyliner Questions

The skyliner wasn't finished the last time I went to WDW. We had a baby and with covid and financial issues, we just won't be able to swing it until 2022. So I have zero experience with it and haven't really read up on it.

Is it faster to use skyliner to go between H.S. & Epcot? If so, approximately how long does it take to go between the parks? (Not just the posted times between each stop but a total trip including stops).

Do you need to get off at each stop and get back on?

Thank you advance for your help!

To go between DHS and Epcot, you would need to get off at CBR and enter the line for your next destination. Riviera (on the CBR <> IG line) is the only station where you can remain on board, all other stations require you to exit.

In a perfect world with ZERO waits, the Skyliner between DHS & Epcot would be a little faster than taking a boat.

We Went to POP last September and had great experiences with the Skyliner. Here are some things to note:

- At POP if skyliner was running, buses were not an option. Now I am not sure if this is just because of COVID-19 precautions or if this is all the time, but it makes sense.

- If you are leaving from POP or AOR, you will have to ride to the connecting point and get back in line. We got in line at 8:30 (10 am open) for DHS and 10:00 am (11 am open) for Epcot. We made it to both before official park opening and had no issues. Also remember, due to COVID it is one party per gondola, so that is going to make the line move slower. I liked this however. Once you get on at the connecting point, you do not get off until you get to the park of choice.

- Coming back was great and fast and dumped us not too far from our room, which we loved.
