Walt Disney Pictures has revealed the new trailer for superhero family comedy Sky High at Yahoo! Movies. The film opens in theaters on July 29th.

The Mike Mitchell-directed movie stars Kurt Russell, Kelly Preston, Michael Angarano, Danielle Panabaker, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Bruce Campbell, Dave Foley, Steven Strait and Lynda Carter.

I agree. I can't decide whether it will be a huge flop or a decent hit. My only complaint is that it looks a little bit like the incredables. But, it seems like its trying to be as different as possible.

It'll go head to head with "Zoom's Academy for the Super Gifted" and "The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3D", I think. They all have similar themes, although "Sky" and "Shark Boy" seem more "Spy Kids" oriented so far. Of course, there hasn't been a trailer to "Zoom's" yet, so...

Also, "The Incredibles" was huge, so it's bound to become a comparison mark of sorts. I bet there'll be a lot of uninformed people saying "Fantastic Four" ripped Pixar off come July...

All in all, it sure is a good year to be a comic book fan. :lol:
