Hey you guys I'm at school right now using our laptops we have 16 per a class and my partner was wondering if any body else's school has laptops.

Im against computers with internet acess in schools...kids are too busy surfing the web (and most likley not school related web pages) when they should be paying attention....and they are quickly forgetting the power of the library...

we arent allowed free use of them in lessons. only if we need to research stuff. the IT room is open at lunchtimes so we can also go in there to use the PC's

No danger of laptops being given to everyone up here. They'd only get about 3 back at the end of the year!

Hey you guys thx for your input. We arn't allowed free surfing of the internet either. If you do get caught you get a referal and sent down to the vice principals office. But I'm very careful I always keep an extra screen of Internet Explorer up so I can swithch back just incase she comes to check on what we are doing but most of the time she doesn't o well. I'm home now and skool is over in 5 more days!!! Bye

wow u guys are lucky. We have regualar PCs In keyboarding class and one in every class room..I wish we had laptops or E-books soo we wouldnt have to carry books..they get really heavy
