Skipping a Trip

There has been a lot of grumbling about the lack of attractions and loss of value by going to DHS, but I dont think its really decreasing attendance that much. There will be a measure of people who will stay away until theres a totally new finished Disney but others will fill the gap. We were thinking about skipping a couple of more years but we decided we wanted to go back in May 2018. We will have PH so if we find DHS lacking we will move onto another area. Theres still a lot of goodness in the park, TOT, RnRc, ST, TS, Muppets, etc. will fill up a lot of time.

No, we're going next June and plan to go there. I could never skip a park. There's something I like at each one. Last time we went (2016) we had a great time still.

I didn't fail to understand anything. The ride is closed for whatever reason and could have been renewed until the construction was done. Right now this isn't even a half day park.
No... you don't know the terms that the holders of the IP set. It is possible that they said we want a 20 year term or nothing at all in which case the amount of money would have been silly for something you might only really need to 2 years max.

On my recent 10-day trip, I didn't make a vist to Hollywood Studios. But I easily could have gone over & enjoyed myself for a while if I'd wanted.
I spent three days at Animal Kingdom which, with Pandora, is now my favorite of the bunch.
Although I'm very hopeful for the future of Epcot and Hollywood Studios with the changes coming.

Apparently you don't either. It could have just as easily been 5 years. You are only guessing.

I'm going to HS for the last time in a few years this coming weekend... Gonna catch Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Muppets, and Indiana Jones before anything potentially happens to them! Hopefully the thunderstorms will allow us to do this.

Thunderstorms just mean that the less-dedicated run for cover while you can enjoy lower crowds for a time...

This is very true! I was mostly meaning the outdoor shows because they close things like Fantastic, Beast and Indiana Jones during thunderstorms.
