Skate park near WDW?

Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong place.

Has anyone ventured off property to a local skate park? My other half (38 going on 13) would love to spend a morning at a park while the ladies of the family have a spa day. Are there any close by (taxi) and are they any good?

The only one that I know of that's reasonably close is Metro Skateboard Academy. It's probably a good 20 minutes away and geared more for little ones but they have open skate times.

I just checked out their website - they have an Old Man Jam which would probably suit him down to the ground . It looks like it's pretty close to UO and since we'll be staying there for a few days he could easily get a cab there for a few hours. Thanks so much!
